Isola Rossa is a pretty touristic village that overlooks Asinara's gulf placed 4 km away from Castelsardo - Santa Teresa's littoral. Tourism and fishing are the basic economic activities thanks to the port of call once protected by an ancient spanish tower that still rises from the rocks.
the name of the village is related to peculiar colour of the little island that rises from the sea 400 m far from the coast in front of it. The coast is low indented and rocky with rocks rising from the sea. La marinedda beach, enclosed among granitic red rocks, desert coves and luxuriant mediterranean scrub, characterized by thin white sand and emerald water. Surfing, windsurfing, snorkeling and diving are the activities that can be played on this beach.
 
How to reach: From Castelsardo take the SS 134 for 4,5 then turn left onto SP90bis and drive for 2km, turn left and take SP13m and go straight for 18km then turn left for "ISOLA ROSSA" and drive for about 4km.
