Arbatax is also famous for its "rocce rosse", huge red rocks, near the harbour.  
It is a wonderful and evocative view. During the day the deep blue sea and, at night, the moonlight bring  the rocks out, when the north eastern wind whistles, and the waves, crashing on the monumental rocks, create a spectacular scenery.
