Oristano's tourist port is placed in Torregrande's marine in the centre of Sardinian west coast. Thanks to its ideal position, this port is a good starting point to visit the west coast of the island with 405 point boat and protected from meteorological events. The marina starts to the west with the Capo San Marco peninsula where the Sinis-maldiventre protected area begins. Just a few miles away, one of the most interesting tourist Sardinian destinations can be found: the archeological finds of Tharros. To the south-east we found the long and sandy Torregrande’s beach that recently gain the Blue Flag Award from FEE.
The city of Oristano is 9 km far from the marina and it can be easily reached by car and public transports. In medieval times, the town became capital of the "giudicato" of Arborea. Through the tiny streets of Oristano it is possible to go shopping or eat delicious food in several typical restaurants.
Just 30km far from the city it is possible to play golf in the beautiful Is Arenas Golf club designed by Von Hagge & Baril characterized by a thick pinewood, several natural dunes and 4 ponds and 6300 meters of Golf course.
